It’s been well over an year since me and Johnny started dating. And during this time we got to know each other really good and we came to the conclusion that we barely have a  few things in common.

It’s not like we might not like the same things but it’s the fact that we’re opposite to each other. I love anime and he loves movies, I like to play Sims he like Counter Strike, he doesn’t like garlic or onion in his food, I love it, and so on.

His choice: “Prison Break”

This is Johnny’s all time favorite TV show. He never missed an episode, and he would stay awake all night just to see it (you know, time zones, America: day ~ Romania: night). Anyway, he even bought all the DVDs with all the series and he made me watch it. I really did liked it, I swear, but it was killing me. Every episode just ended when things were getting more interesting, and I just don’t know how he managed to wait an entire week for the next episode. Every time I was wondering “Who’s gonna die next?”. I admit I only watched 10 episodes and then didn’t even thought about it. My blood pressure was going up every time I watched it.

Her choice: “Midsomer Murders”

This is my all time favorite, it even beats watching the first season of Gilmore Girls. ”Midsomer Murders” is a detective TV show. Each episode lasts around a hour and half, so it’s like watching a movie. And you don’t have to worry that if you loose an episode you won’t know what happens next, cause each episode presents a different story. I have all the DVDs but I only managed to see just about half of all the episodes. I believe Johnny saw half of one episode, I’m not sure. But I am sure that he doesn’t like it, cause it’s not as full of action as Prison Break. And just to mention it, this is a British TV show.

I guess I’m a more mellow kind of person that likes more “slice of life” TV shows and Johnny likes his TV shows with a lot of action. It’s no wonder that when we are home we watch Discovery or Animal Planet.
