2009 March | - Part 2

It’s the second pair of jeans that I’ve managed to rip in less then two weeks. And the worst part is, that I’m talking about my favorite jeans.

It’s pretty disappointing, cause I wasn’t planning on buying new jeans, I was happy with them cause they worked with almost everything, every tee, shirt and sweater that I have in my wardrobe. It’s hard to find jeans that just work for you. Oh, I am sure I will have a hard time to find jeans that I would like. In shops you can only find jeans that are ripped, full with stuff on them or with such a low waist that I don’t even need to bend to show my ass.

Anyway, the weather this weekend has been so confusing. Either it was sunny but bloody cold, or it was cloudy but not so cold. Hopefully spring will come, soon if possible.

I was in a weird mood yesterday. All of a sudden I felt the need to clean my room, it was like I was rebelling against my lazy self. Is that normal?

After I cleaned the room, I was hungry. I called my brother, asked him if he wanted spaghetti, mashed potatoes with fried meat or a mix of both. He said he was fine with whatever I was having. When did we started to get along so well? I don’t know. But this week has been really peaceful at home. I know it’s because my father isn’t home, he’s been away for the entire week, and I hope he won’t come back anytime soon. Am I being mean? Nope, I just like being alone from time to time.

Okay so I made spaghetti napoletane. I think that’s how they are called. I bought them from the shop, but I think they’re just to plain, so I added some meat and some onion. The result was really delicious, and after two full plates, I was thinking if I should stop eating and leave some for brother. I wasn’t hungry anymore, but I haven’t had spaghetti in a long time and they were really good, the sauce had the perfect texture and it wasn’t too sweet nor two spicy (even if I dropped a bit too much pepper in it). I was even wearing the apron.

I don’t know if mother cooked something today, but I think I’ll pass on the cooking today, if possible. I am sure I’ll have another peaceful day, hopefully with father not home. I don’t know what Johnny has in mind, but he won’t come to my place. I even tried to blackmail him with good food, wine and the prospect of watching a movie tonight. He won’t budge. That meanie. Oh well I might re-consider inviting him over tomorrow at my place. He can stay home and sleep with his cat. Wait I want to sleep with Suzi, cause she’s so cute when she purrs. I am seriously thinking and plotting to steal Johnny’s cat. But I am also aware that if I do that, then my hamster won’t have a long life like I promised him he would.

Oh well, 45 more minutes and I’m heading home. Lucky me.

I was just thinking about it, and I realised that this weekend was really great fun and very relaxing. Well I think Johnny was the most relaxed. On Saturday he slept 3 hours or so, and on Sunday about an hour.

While he slept I was just hanging around, playing on his computer, searching for random stuff. And I found a lot of interesting stuff about Wonder Girls, listened to a lot of Korean songs on YouTube. Now I was looking for news/downloads/pictures/etc. from Lee Hyori, Big Bang, Wonder Girls, Girls Generation and Shinhwa. Well the last group, Shinhwa, it’s not new to me. If I remember correctly, Kyvra told me about them, like 2 years ago. She even sent me some songs, and she told me she loved one of them but it’s hard to remember which one, cause they changed so much.

Oh I didn’t like them then since they had really weird hair and more make up that I would like to see on a man’s face. But now looking at pictures of them, they seem to have grown up. Seriously, they have changed their look a lot:

But the biggest find for me was Big Bang! I really felt for their songs, especially “Lies“. And their live performance is really awesome; they can actually sing. And then there’s Lee Hyori (her songs are really catchy, “U go girl“ was on repeat all day yesterday) and Girls Generation (funny, I listened to “Gee” last year and didn’t like it, but it seems I do now) that got my attention.

Until a few months ago, I only knew about BoA and that’s because she was the one singing “Every Heart-Minna no Kimochi” from Inuyasha (I LOVE ANIME!), and Shinhwa. But now, it seems I’ve become addicted to Korean entertainment.

It’s a good thing Johnny woke up when he did, otherwise I would’ve stayed in front of that computer all day long. And then I wouldn’t have had such a great time. I swear, his relatives are really awesome. I just can’t believe what crazy and extremely funny people they are. And his friends are also insane, but fun to hang out with. That’s why I’m letting Johnny go out with them this weekend. This has nothing to do with me wanting to spend my Saturday alone, listening to music >_>.

But even so, I guess a day apart will do us good. Plus he gets the chance to go out and get wasted with his buddies (he can’t/doesn’t drink when he’s with me, cause he’s that nice) and I get to dance around the house and just slack all day long. So it’s a win-win situation.

Oh, and before I forget, here are some really funny pictures of Soo Hee and her lookalikes (found the pictures on K-bites):

But that doesn’t mean that I don’t like Soo Hee anymore, I think she’s still cute.

What a beautiful Saturday and it’s not even over.

In a way I still can’t believe that I woke up so early today, it’s Saturday and I was supposed to sleep in till lunch, at least. But it didn’t bother me. Johnny slept more then me and when he woke up, the coffee was already waiting for him.

After we had breakfast, we went to the mall to pay the phone bill and the cable. Anyway, since we were there we had ice cream… okay I had an ice cream and he had a burger. I’m the only one addicted to ice cream, everybody knows that. My favorite flavour right now is lemon. Yummy!

And today, Johnny had his way: I ended up going for an eye check up and on Monday I’m going to get my glasses. My eyesight isn’t bad but it’s not good either, I only have problems when it comes to see at distance. I’m a bit unsure about the glasses but if Johnny said they look good on me, I’ll believe him. Anyway, on the way there, we saw some Indians singing and dancing. Even if it was raining and Johnny needed to go to the bathroom, I managed to take some pictures and I even filmed them.

Oh and I saw a lot of cute kitties today and even took pictures and played with them. Even at the doctor they had a cute cat. And right now, I have Suzi in my lap, she’s sleeping.

That’s it!!! After today, I’ll never pick up a newspaper ever again.

I’m just sick and tired of seeing nude women, the same Romanian “celebrities” and today’s surprise, pictures with the heads of some people that were killed somewhere. It’s just sick. They didn’t even blurred the pictures, or at least warn you before you scroll the page down. I didn’t want to see those pictures.

WTF is wrong with people today? It’s like the people who write the newspapers, or choose which news are gonna be aired on TV,  get a kick when they write/talk about such things. I guess if they didn’t show this kind of news they wouldn’t have anything else to write or talk about, except nude women, sport news (with more nude women, which are fans of certain people), and news about so called celebrities (mostly Romanian celebrities that can’t even talk correctly). Plus, each TV/newspaper has it’s own version so you can’t really know for sure which is the right one, and most of them exaggerate just to get attention.

So there’s no point in buying a newspaper or wasting an hour in front of the TV. Heck, why are my parents even paying for cable??? Oh yeah, I remember, the sports channel that actually airs real sports and no naked women, the Discovery, lifestyle, music and cartoons channels. I think the cable company should let us choose which programs we want to see and which we don’t.
