Lookie, page rank 1, page rank 1…. how awesome!!!

Hey people brag with their stats, I like to brag with the rank. But still, wow that’s amazing. That just made my day, and I’m guessing Johnny’s also. I wasn’t expecting something like that after all it’s just a random personal blog.

I seriously need to write things down, cause it seems I keep forgetting about stuff.

hot-dog

Right, moving on… to the Hot Dog quest, you heard me. After we bought the sandals yesterday (Johnny was with me, and he bought a web cam for a neighbour), we went to eat. We saw some fast food places that had huge adds with hot dogs. You can guess that we went straight for them. But none of the places there had hot dogs even if they were advertising them. It was weird cause we went to 4 different places and none had hot dogs, yet they had the adds.

How can you advertise for something you don’t sell?

Anyway, I gave up and asked for a shaorma, Johnny didn’t want anything. So after 10 minutes, we left and guess what, a few meters away there was another fast food joint which actually had hot dogs, but no adds. You can guess that I ate a double hot dog and and the small shaorma.

But the entire thing was really weird.

This is an interesting news I’ve found. Well just the name sounds interesting, the content is rather dull.

So the article goes something like this:

The Center of Youth of the Metropolitan Library of Bucharest (wow that’s a big name) in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sport, organizes, on 30 May, the first edition of “‘Blogger Day at Bucharest”, which will include a marathon of blogging at the House of Culture of Students in Bucharest…

The Blogger Day at Bucharest will be a blog fair which will be presented in a ingenious way. The participants are free to promote in any way their online pages, organize happenings, debates, contests, stand-up comedy, video-projections, sales, press conferences, sampling and many more. The Blogger Day at Bucharest will represent a form of presentation of blogs in any way.

In this event, there have been submitted around 300 blogs, most of them promoting projects dedicated to the people of Bucharest.

In short, nothing interesting. I know I won’t be going.

I got new shoes and I got new blisters. I forgot how bad it feels when you legs are in pain, and it’s something that I wished I would never have to remember.

I bought new sandals, to be more precise. They look and are comfortable (and really cute) since they are flat, but they are new and my legs aren’t used to them, yet. Today it was the first day I’ve used them. I did around 6000 steps from home to work, that’s what my pedometer says, and I guess it was only normal that I would get blisters.

I shall never take for granted my sneakers. I shall love them always and take good care of them, and I promise I won’t be so harsh with them (maybe I will stop walking so much). It sucks that I couldn’t take pictures of them (since my camera was at work) but there’s always tomorrow.
