There are two Korean love songs that I truly love. I’m infatuated with them, but I also came to the conclusion that, if the video wasn’t awesome I wouldn’t have loved them as much.

The two songs that I’m talking about are “Without a heart” by 8eight and “My tears are dropping” by K.Will.

So Hee (from the Wonder Girls) stars in “Without a heart” and Yuri (from Girls Generation) stars in “My tears are dropping”. I really like them in the music videos and I wish they would have more projects like this.

I’m having a hard time choosing between the two songs/two girls. I find the songs equally great and touching; I like the cute So Hee (hey I am a Wonder Girls fan, after all), but I don’t know what to say about Yuri.

From Girls Generation I like Hyoyeon and Sooyoung best. Yuri reminds me of one of my brothers (she’s got a “player” kinda of feeling to her). But she looks and acts great in the video.

8eight – “Without a heart”

K.Will – “My tears are dropping”

Can you choose between the two songs/two girls?

Who is Hae Lim?

Well she the newest Wonder Girls member. I could say she replaced Sun Mi, but that wouldn’t be fair (to Sun Mi or to Hae Lim), so I’m going to say she’s the new addition.

Have any of you visited the Wonder Girls website?

I did and I was surprised that there wasn’t any kind information about her on it: no profile, no biography, and no pictures.

She wasn’t received “warmly” by the fans and everyone keeps saying she doesn’t fit in with the rest of the Wonder Girls. Of course she doesn’t fit in with the rest of the girls; she’s new to them and to the fans.

The Wonder Girls have been around for 3 years. In this time, they earned their fans, they created their own style and have gotten used to being in the spotlight. They (Sun Ye, Ye Eun, So Hee, Yo Bin and Sun Mi) also became friends.

Hae Lim is a stranger to the stage, a stranger to the Wonder Girls and a stranger to the fans. So, don’t be unfair to her. She’s a newbie, a Wonder Girls newbie. Give her time to earn her fans, to find her style and to get used with all this attention that she’s getting. Also, give her time to become friends with the other Wonder Girls.

She isn’t here to replace Sun Mi.

I am actually looking forward to the new Wonder Girls album. I just want to hear her sing and I also want new Wonder Girls songs. Then I’ll know for sure if I like her or not. Until then, I hope JYPE will make her a proper profile and we will get to see more pictures of her and the Wonder Girls.

P.S.: I just realised that, while I wrote this post I actually got used to Hae Lim as a Wonder Girl. And I’m the same person who, a few weeks ago, said she can’t imagine the Wonder Girls without any of the original members.

Korean dramas are taking National TV by storm.

This week, the Korean drama ”Ji San Kang Jeong Jo” (English name: “The Wind of the Palace“) will come to an end (so be sure not to miss the last episodes).

But, don’t despair, TVR1 knows what people want and it’s gonna start airing a new korean drama “The Great Queen Seon Deok

Queen Seon Deok of Silla is the follow-up historical drama to MBC’s “Lee San: Wind of the Palace” and “Prince of Legend” for 2009!
Writer Kim Young-hyun of the famous “Jewel in the Palace” will be the main writer of this new TV mini-series.

It’s a good thing my mother is a fan, otherwise I wouldn’t have know about it. I even stole her TV Guide just so I could scan it. This is great news for me cause that means Korean Entertainment is gaining popularity (even if it’s just TV series and not music).

But, I know for certain that UEE from the kpop group “After School” will be playing the part of young Lady Misil. And, you could call that a compromise.

Korean entertainment has been taken by surprise by the official announcement that Sun Mi is leaving the Wonder Girls.

As all the fans out there, I was shocked when I read the news (on Saturday). It really came out of nowhere and what really “hit” was how quickly she was replaced (by a 17 year old Lim).

I just can’t imagine the Wonder Girls without any of the original members: Sun Ye, Ye Eun, Yu Bin, So Hee and Sun Mi. JYP really found the “perfect formula” for a girl group. All of the 5 members had their own personalities and unique traits, they had really great chemistry on stage and off (not to mention talent) and the Wonder Girls are the only Korean Idol group that has managed to keep it’s style unchanged for more than 3 years. And that says something in an industry where image and keeping up with the latest fashions counts as much as talent.

It’s funny how things turn out, since last year in June, So Hee and Sun Mi were bashed for giving up school so they could concentrate more on their activities in the U.S. and now, half an year later, Sun Mi is leaving the Wonder Girls so she can focus more on school and the fans are shocked and refuse to “let her go”. I guess you can’t please everyone.

I am wondering if her leave will affect the Wonder Girls English album that is supposed to be out this February? Either way, she will be greatly missed and I’m sure that everyone will agree that she’ll be a Wonder Girl no matter how long she’ll be away from the stage.

Wish you luck with your studies Mimi!

In today’s newspaper, you can find a really small article (really small) about Top Gear coming to Romania on 22 September.

I’m a big fan of this TV show and I’m now even into cars. The article says:

The famous TV show from BBC, “Top Gear”, will be filming in the underground car park of the Palace of Parliament… on 22 September. The Top Gear stars will be filming for 3 hours and will be making demonstrations with 3 spectacular cars: Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin.

But that’s not all, after a little googleing, I found out that they will be filming in different locations in Romania. Now that’s awesome. I would like and autograph now! But I don’t even know when they will be coming in the country and on what airport. Must do my research first.

I think I’ll get a few days off… and maybe convince Johnny to take a few days off too.
