It’s amazing what a simple tilt of the head can make. And it’s somehow amazing that all these years I’ve been walking around with my head in the ground.

I was thinking these couple of days to start a Photo Blog section. But I thought about it and I realized that it would be impossible for me to update every day. Especially since the Weekend is my time off from everything, including the blog.

Also, I wanted to be something meaningful. The truth is, things that actual mean something don’t happen every day. So I pondered some more and I’ve reached a compromise with myself: A Photo Log.

I actually have old fashion diaries at home (since my school days when I had no idea what the Internet was). I cherish those diaries, because whenever I open them I actually realize how many things I’ve forgotten. But, the thing that I regret the most is that I don’t have pictures with my friends. Some of my childhood friends are just names now, because I’ve forgotten their faces. That’s quite sad, and I’m sure there are many people out there in the same situation as me.

So, a Photo Log seems like a good idea, plus this is a personal blog so why not use it for my personal use. But, I’m still considering posting pictures of people.

The only thing that is missing is the picnic basket.

It’s raining outside and it’s lovely.

I walked all the way to the subway and I even took the long road. It’s not pouring down, but it’s raining, calmly. It’s not cold but it isn’t hot either.

It’s just a perfect morning even if my hamster got out of his cage last night (that wasn’t so hard since the cage was left open) and I had to look for him this morning. Don’t worry I knew where he was and I found him in a couple of minutes.

Usually he’s a good hamster; once he’s out he goes back to his cage. I still can’t figure that but hey I’m happy he is house trained.

And, I even went to the park and took some pictures.

This is a lovely morning, hopefully the day itself will be good.

The warm weather has come and we are already going to the country side.

Well, you can’t blame us, after all it’s so quiet and beautiful there you can easily forget about all your troubles.I also realized that there is lot of interesting subjects for photography there. For example, old railways, fields with farm animals, clouds, forests, etc. But I realized that a bit too late since we were already on our way home.

I won’t miss my chance next time. Hopefully the weather will be as beautiful as it was this weekend.

The best way to spend slow weekends is by taking a walk in the park. Just walking around, enjoying the outdoors and the lovely spring weather, hoping it won’t rain.

I admit the parks here aren’t as beautiful as the ones you see in other countries but they have their own charm. Sometimes you have the feeling that you’re at the country side.

The pics aren’t all that great since they were taken with my phone, but as I said it was a slow weekend and I wasn’t in the mood to carry anything except my keys and my phone.
