Before I saw the movie last week, I read on the Internet about it. Many complained that it was identical to the first movie and it had nothing new or special to it. I am happy that I didn’t followed their advice and went ahead and watched the movie… with Johnny of course.

I loved it!!! The first thing that caught my attention was the appearance of Han (Sung Kang) in the movie. It was a brief appearance, but it was more than enough for me (since I was so sad when he died in Tokyo Drift). 

The next best thing was when Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) died. I can’t say I dislike her, but she plays the same type of character in all the movies she does (or the movies I’ve seen; for example ”Resident Evil“). It’s like the only thing she knows to do is frown and act bitchy. Well that might not be acting considering the recent wedding incident.

Then there were the cool cars, Brian O’Connor (Paul Walker), more cool cars and the scene were Dom gets Fenix. And like every other movie where the hero can’t die (since they might make more Fast and Furious sequels), Dom is rescued by friends, from serving 25 years in jail. And now we know how he ended in Japan.

It was not great but it was surely an entertaining movie with lots of action. I’m curious if they will make another sequel if the movie does well at the box office. I wouldn’t mind it at all, and I’m sure that Johnny agrees with me.
