This morning when I met with Johnny I got a really bad news.

It seems that his 1 Tb Hard Drive has died after he shut down his computer yesterday evening. He tried opening his computer this morning and all he could see was the Bios window. It seems his computer doesn’t recognize the hard drive anymore. That means goodbye all information, meaning pictures, movies, anime, music, and many more. Okay forget about the movies, the music, but a year worth of pictures really suck.

Pictures from my birthday, from his birthday, pictures of his cat, of my guinea pigs, pictures we took when we went on trips, random pictures taken when we were together, pictures of his nephew, of my niece, etc. It’s not a total loss, since most of the pictures are on my laptop, on my work computerĀ and on CD’s (I’m a maniac when it comes to back up), but there were a few pictures that only he had and it pisses me off that I didn’t asked him to put them on a CD. Grrr

Oh well, right now, I am busy reading on a forum about possible solutions to fix it. But I’m not having to much luck, since everyone keeps complaining about a certain brand of hard drives and how bad the customer service is (aka they don’t care if you loose all the contents of your hard drive). I just hope that I will at least find some solutions to save some of the information from the hard drive.
