Aishwarya Rai |

Reading other blogs and websites is really the best way to find new information. I have a few blogs that I follow on a daily basis (except during Weekends). Some are about Japan, some about Bollywood stars and some just for news.

As you know I’m a big fan of Aishwarya Rai, and this little piece of information caught my eyes, well just the picture of Aishwarya. It seems that she’s filming for her new movie “Endhiran (Robot)”, which will be released in 2010. From the pictures you can clearly tell it’s gonna have a lot of dancing and singing (not that I mind). Also, I can’t help notice how good she looks, and it also reminds me that I haven’t seen a Bollywood movie in a long time. Maybe I should take some time for myself and watch one this weekend.

I also found more pictures of her:

When a sequel comes out you think: “God, I hope it’s at least as good as the first movie”. Well that’s what I always think.

I was waiting to see Pink Panther 2 because I heard Aishwarya Rai was playing in it (I really like her a lot). I wasn’t expecting the movie to be that good. I seriously laughed my butt off. Steve Martin (as Inspector Jacques Clouseau) was incredibly insane. The rest of the cast (Jean Reno, Emily Mortimer, Andy Garcia, Alfred Molina, Yuki Matsuzaki) were really great. They fit their roles perfectly and just completed the madness created by Steve Martin character.Warning spoiler: I think it was Aishwarya first villain role in her entire career.

Another surprise for me was seeing Johnny Hallyday (as Milliken) in the movie. The last movie I’ve seen him in was “Tais-Toi!”. He’s really hot even if he’s old. He had just two scenes in the movie (warning another spoiler: even if in one he was dead).

What else can I say, ummm, I know “Die you little piggies!!!”.

As I said and with “X-Men Origins: Wolverine“, go watch Pink Panther 2 cause it’s really awesome.

I was browsing around the Internet when I discovered this little article. It’s a Top 20 with international actresses (beauties).

I was expecting to see a lot of familiar faces but there’s just one thing that bugged me. They picked Freida Pinto over Aishwarya Rai. I know Freida Pinto is hot at the moment, with Slumdog Millionaire and all, but that’s her only movie so far. Even if she does show a lot of promise, it doesn’t change the fact that she’s a newbie in the movie industry.

They should’ve chosen Aishwarya Rai. She has 38 movies, so far, under her belt, she was Miss India 1994 runner-up, she won Miss World. She did a lot of things and stood the test of time. I know there are a lot of other Bollywood stars out there that are worth mentioning, but none of them is and will be as famous as Aishwarya (IMO).

On our first date, me and Johnny went to the movies and saw “The last legion“. I remembered sitting way back and when I saw her on the screen I was all “That’s Aishwarya Rai, how awesome!!!“. Well I didn’t scream or anything but I was just shocked seeing her in a Hollywood movie.

Even so, I don’t have anything against Freida Pinto (except, maybe, envy cause she’s gorgeous). If they would’ve made a simple Top 20 International beauties then I would’ve been okay with it. I just don’t think they should be “spoiling” her like that, well not now at least, cause she’s just at the beginning of her career. And we all know what happens when stars get too much attention.

PS: I just remembered that I wanted to see Pink Panther 2.
