Puppies |

I work 8 hours per day, from Monday to Friday. I get home around 5 PM every day and when I do I just slack off. I’m not in the mood for anything.

But yesterday was different, we went to the puppies to see how they are doing (after the storm) and they are doing fine. They were energetic as always, pulling on my camera as I was trying to take pictures, and jumping and biting my hands so I would play with them. And play they got.

I’m even happy cause I managed to take decent pictures. Some pictures were taken by me and some by Johnny, cause I was busy playing with the puppies.

It was really fun playing with them. And at home I played with Martinel (my hamster). I just let him free on the balcony while I was listening to music on my MP3 player. He was really happy and was running around. He is really friendly and I don’t have to worry about him running away cause the last time I couldn’t find him he was already in his cage, running on his wheel. I guess my hamster is pretty smart since he goes back to his cage when he gets bored of the “outdoors”.

Oh the weather is turning nice again. The big black clouds were gone and I could even see a plane.

I just realised how bad I am at photography. I may take some good pictures (well decent ones) from time to time, but the rest are completely horrible.

I realised this after I looked at the pictures of the puppies that I took yesterday (the same puppies as before). Unfortunately, the black one died and just two puppies are left (from a total of 8). I know how fast they grow so I wanted to take more pictures of them. But it was easier said than done. They were constantly moving and well they were really happy. It was really hard to get them to stay still. All the pictures taken are blurry and just plain weird.

Here’s a sample of the pictures taken yesterday (yes that’s my backpack they are pulling on):

I think I may need to take a photography class, or at least read some photography books.

Cute aren’t they?

There were 8 puppies in the litter at first, but only 3 survived. I think all the puppies would’ve survived if their mother was still alive, but someone poisoned her. Yes there are still people like that living in these days, unfortunately.

I’m just glad there are and good people out there. These people are just kids, Johnny’s friends more precise. They take care of 5 puppies in total, 3 small ones (that you can see in the pictures) and 2 older ones (it was impossible for me to take a pictures of them since all they do is run around like crazy, but I will try harder next time).

What these kids are doing is really admirable because not many kids these days would spend their pocket money or time on homeless animals. Claudia and co. have been taking care of the puppies for more then two months, always waking up early in the morning to feed them, to clean them and even play with them. The process repeats itself  every few hours.

I would help them as well but my money and time goes to the cats that live in front of Johnny’s apartment building.
