New watch

It definitely felt like Monday yesterday. It’s a good thing I was in a good mood, otherwise I would’ve started crying.

I had to do two important things yesterday: get my manga’s and get new batteries for my two favorite hand watches (I have 6 in total). I couldn’t go get my manga’s cause we got paid a day later than usual. So, no money = no manga.

After that, I just went to the repair shop and gave them the watches. As the old man was fixing the battery in my silvery watch, he pushed a bit to hard and broke the glass screen. It wouldn’t have been a problem in a normal situation, but the watch had a really big glass screen so they couldn’t find a replacement for it. I was really upset cause I loved that watch. It was the first gift Johnny gave to me.

But, the people there were very nice and let me pick a new watch, and I now have a new black simple watch. At first I wasn’t sure about it, but now I like it. I guess you lose some and you win some. It’s a good thing Johnny was with me.

Lovely Complex

Because of the hot weather we’ve been having I just don’t feel like going out anymore. And let’s face it, there aren’t many things you can do inside.

But I did managed to watch in just three days all 24 episodes of Lovely Complex. It wasn’t that I managed, but more like I was to hooked to it that I couldn’t let it go. It’s been a while since I watched an anime series that could make me laugh so much. It just delivered from the beginning to the end and I just loved it.

I was lucky when I picked this anime because it was a total random pick. I know a lot of people will hate me, but I really hope autumn will come sooner this year, cause I’m already sick and tired of this heat.

Oh and about Lovely Complex, this is definitely an anime that deserves watching. I was thinking about writing more about the plot and characters, but because it has just 24 episodes (half an hour each), it would be a waste to let anything out. I’ll just say this, don’t think it’s just another romantic comedy, it’s actually 100% comedy with a little bit of romance thrown in.

Feels like insomnia (Ah)

I downloaded a few weeks ago a “Top 100” chart with Korean songs.

The chart had a lot of good songs, but I was stuck listening to “Insomnia” from WheeSung. I really liked this song and it’s been on repeat every since. Today I was listening to the radio and I heard the English version of the song, which is played by Craig David.

I was really shocked at first, cause I was thinking “They are playing a Korean song!!!”, but it didn’t turned out to be that way (sucks). Since Google is my friend, I looked it up and found both versions, and I can truly say I like them both a lot. Also I found more about these two artists and how come they are both singing the same song here.

Here is  Craig David version:

And here’s WheeSung version:

Seaside 2009 (Part 1)

I guess you can say we were lucky this year. Before we left to the seaside, the weather report said it was gonna rain.

But it didn’t and there weren’t that many people on the beach. It was awesome! And now, as I watch the news and see so many people crowded together on the beach I can only laugh.

The second best thing were the train rides. I kept all the tickets (and there a lot of them). But I got annoyed, cause I was trying to take pictures of the landscape, but the lighting posts were getting in the way.

I’m sure that, if I tried to take a picture of a post I wouldn’t have managed it.

Oh, and we got to see and a lot of ships and airplanes, but mostly ships.
