It’s Autumn and I already have a cold. Its not that I wasn’t prepared for the chilly weather, its more that I wasn’t prepared for my colleagues. They really love me and they enjoy sharing anything with me, from food, cute things to a flu.

And that’s how I got a cold.

I can’t complain. I mean I got some really cute stuff yesterday from my colleagues. It was like a mini Christmas. Really made my day a lot easier at work.

This is a food container from Ikea. Not that functional, but cute. I mean, besides a sandwich or fruits, I cannot put real food in it. It might spill and it will make a mess. Still, its something I wanted and Ikea is in the other part of town; it takes around 1 hour to get there during a normal day. I’m glad someone bought it for me.

I wanted a wallet for a while, since my wallet ended up with my mother in law (long story). But I am not prepared to spend so much money on a wallet. After all I am on poor mode for almost 3 weeks. I’m trying to save money not spend it. So, I got a mini pouch from one of my favorite friends at work. It’s perfect as a wallet for me.

Its not like I will have lots of money with me, more like work card, metro card, ID and taxi vouchers. I was really happy when I got this. I don’t know if she read my mind or noticed the plastic bag I had as a replacement. Yup, I’m that cheap. Then again, we (me and Johnny) are trying to make a major step and it takes a lot of preparation and responsibility.

We are trying to save for our own place. So, for use to avoid paying our entire life for a small apartment we decided to save money and pay one big chunk of it in one go. Growing up sucks in these times. Its easier being a kid, because parents now will do anything for their kids and they spoil them rotten.

Still, it will be fun, I want to see how far can we go.

Tiresome mini vacation

I knew it was a bad idea but I still went ahead with it. The need for a change in the daily routine overcame my need to stay away from certain people.

I can’t complain. I found some good motivation, I played card games, took a few photos and just enjoyed the cold Autumn weather at the country side.

When I go on vacation, even on a mini vacation, I only want a  good bed, good food and nice company. I don’t care about the rest as long as those 3 are on the list. This time I only got the first two. I do think I was a bit harsh after all people do get sick all the time, but this is the first time I saw someone getting sick as soon as work was involved.

I think it will take a while before we will go back there. I really need to calm down before seeing that person again.

Officially Autumn is here. It’s not cold or anything, nor the weather changed much, it’s just that it is September and that means a lot of things.

You see, September is like a second beginning to me. Like the start of a new year. The weather just wakes you up and you get on a mood to do things, to be productive.

I don’t know why, but that’s how I feel. I mean, I lost my entire Saturday cleaning up the house and I am proud of it. Not only that, but finished all the shopping. And I’m actually waiting to see when I can enroll in the 3rd year at university, but that’s a different thing altogether.

Also, I think I like September because school starts. I had a great time in school, but now I like this period because kids will come out of hiding and go to school. Its fun to see all those girls trying so hard to look great each day, and in fact they look like they over 30. Sounds mean but it is entertaining.

Oh well, its nice to want to do something, but I wonder how long this will last.

YesStyle Package

I promised myself a while ago that I shall act and dress more feminine, that I will take better care of myself. Believe it or not, that is really hard, especially when time is not your friend.

Dressing like a young respectable woman, making sure your skin is soft and nice, applying make up, taking care of yourself in general takes a lot of time. That an the fact that in Romania good quality clothes & make up are very expensive makes it even harder.

Lately, all the make-up I bought was from online stores. Its much cheaper and this way you can take your time and pick whatever you want, without having to worry about the store clerk giving you weird looks. I know, I’m weird myself but I am one of those people that hates going to the mall. I hate it because it looks like a fashion show. I’m not saying that people should dress like they are going to Walmart but even so, its intimidating to see the effort some people put into their appearance just to eat at McDonald’s.

With clothes its a bit more tricky.

You see, you need to know your body when you buy clothes without trying them on. You need to know your measurements, what style flatters you and you need a little bit of luck.

On that note, I can honestly say I really got lucky this year when I ordered from YesStyle. I managed to catch the sale period and I even got free shipping. It was one of the best buys I made in the last few years. It took me two weeks to decide on what to buy and another moth for the order to be shipped to me, but I bought Autumn clothes when people were making plans for their summer vacation so the shipping time didn’t affect me in any way.

I bought 5 things:

1. Drop-Shoulder Knit Top, this is a quirky piece of clothing  and its exactly as on the website.

2. Set: Belted Cardigan + Camisole. I actually ordered the biggest size on this item. I was afraid that the sizes wouldn’t match, and heck Asians are very slim, I;m not. So, Its a bit large one me, but still nice.

3. Geometric Print Sweater. This piece will determine me to keep my belly flat.

I’m really happy with the quality of the clothes and I actually can’t wait to wear them. Next step, purchasing shoes and then I shall never have to go shopping again. My little PC will do everything for me. I can dream right?!?

Things are better…

…then things are not better.

It’s weird but that’s how I feel at the moment. I guess things haven’t improved but they aren’t any worse either. So, things are just as they always were.

But I am happy of one thing. Soon, very soon, August will end and September will come. It will be a joyful time for me. Waking up under the blankets while outside is chilly, enjoying a good hot coffee, taking a stroll in the rain, seeing the leaves change their colors, and my favorite of them all, wearing my jackets and boots. I just can’t wait.

And with that said I just realized the year is 4 months away from ending. I still have plenty of things to do on my list. Of course, the night shift doesn’t allow me much free time or energy, but I did get the chance to start my cross stitch bookmark.

I had a hard time deciding what to stitch, but eventually decided on a Korean doll on one side and if time allows, a Japanese doll on the other side.

“24 Hours” by Sunmi

SunMi is officially back as a solo artist with her “24 Hours” MV. If anyone expected the old cute SunMi to be back, well they will have a shock.

I haven’t decided yet on the song and how much I like it. But I really do like the video, the JYP family made sure she has the best chances of making a successful comeback. I am curious to see how people will react to her comeback.

Another weekend bites the dust!

Besides cleaning, watching movies, going to the country side and visiting family there’s nothing new to report.

My weekends are pretty slow and uneventful. I cannot complain about them since its too hot to do anything else. My only consolation is that Summer will end soon and Autumn will come. The weather will be nicer and my mood to be productive will come back. I haven’t stitched anything in the last two months, I barely finished a book or two, and my Japanese is going pretty slow.

But I am proud of me for taking pictures. I am using Instagram a bit more than I should but its a fun way to make my days better.

Tomorrow I am going back to driving school. That and university will start again.

I’ll have a full schedule again.

That sounds so nice. Being busy sounds really nice to me at the moment. I don’t know why, but I had this feeling for the last 2 weeks. It feels  that I don’t do anything and I’m not getting anywhere. It’s a sad feeling, but I’m guessing I’m just restless.

Until then I shall enjoy taking pictures of Summer at the country side. The city life is a bit dull at the moment.

Waiting for Autumn

I’m tired of this heat. I’m tired of taking showers for nothing. I’m tired cause I can’t sleep at night because of the heat. Two months of summer are enough for me. I just want Autumn.

I want to walk down the street and enjoy the Autumn air. I want to war jeans and boots. I want to go the park and see this:
